It was lovely to meet the team from Belmond and hear of the plans for the Grand Hibernian Train. The carriages will be heading to Scotland to have the engineering work done shortly and tenders will be issuing for the interior work.
The four-person team will spend the new few days around Ireland, following the route of the train and also visiting other areas of interest that are planned for the itineraries. Following the initial announcement there has been huge interest in the Grand Hibernian for guests of Belmond.
