We girls, six of us, had a really fun night on Thursday June 21, Midsummer, glamping in the new tents at Dromquinna Manor. Arriving by high speed RIB from Kenmare it was an exciting start to our adventure. The weather was a bit wet, but hey, the sound of the rain on the canvas was lovely. So were the beds, proper comfortable hotel beds with luxury linens and hotties if we needed them. Highlight of the night was dinner in the Boat House, which has been beautifully decorated in blue and white New England style. The food by Martin McCormack is really good and the menu is and ideal mix of Tapas, pizzas, and full main courses. Look at the pictures of the food, it tasted even better in real life. Well done to John and Gwen Brennan for the high quality glamping experience. Dromquinna Manor is also a wedding and event venue and I am sure it will be very successful.
